Malls now following shoppers by tracking cell phones

Starting today, two shopping malls in the U.S. will track the movements of their shoppers by tracking cell phones. The two malls are Promenade Temecula in southern California and Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Nokia announces software updates to fix Lumia 800 battery life

It seems that Apple's iPhone 4S isn't the only new smartphone on the market with reports of battery life issues, as Nokia has announced that a software update is coming for the Lumia 800 that will address battery life and charging issues that have been reported by users. In fact, the company plans to release two software updates in the coming months to address the problems.

AT&T and T-Mobile withdrawal FCC merger filings, will refile "as soon as practical"

AT&T and T-Mobile USA have withdrawn their applications for merger from the FCC. AT&T has also said that it will prepare for a possible $4 billion charge for the quarter to cover the breakup fee that would be paid to Deutsche Telekom, should the merger fail to gain final approval from regulators.

LG and Prada announce upcoming Prada Phone by LG 3.0

Today LG and fashion house Prada announced that they have signed a new agreement extending their exclusive partnership and that the two companies will produce the Prada Phone by LG 3.0 in early 2012.
